There is a difference between a garden sauna and a sauna cabin. And this difference is crucial.

A garden sauna is a wooden structure in the garden – functional, practical, and intended for seasonal use. A sauna house, on the other hand, is a building. It features professional insulation, a solid wall construction, and sophisticated insulation against cold and moisture. It's a space that can be comfortably used all year round, even in sub-zero winter temperatures.

Many garden owners underestimate this aspect. They invest in a sauna, look forward to regular wellness moments – and then discover in the first winter: The heating time is enormous, the heat escapes quickly, and the energy consumption is frustrating. What was acceptable in summer becomes a disappointment in winter.

Anyone who wants to use their sauna intensively all year round, who values low operating costs and professional quality, doesn't need a simple garden sauna – but a fully-fledged sauna house.

The "Kalle L" sauna cabin is exactly that: a professionally constructed building with 180mm insulated walls, 100mm mineral wool insulation, a vapor barrier, and a solid substructure. Delivered fully assembled, it can be positioned with a forklift or crane and is ready for immediate use. It features a separate anteroom, a large panoramic window, and space for up to four people.

Not a makeshift garden solution. A real sauna house.

The 4 most important advantages at a glance

Professional 180mm insulation for year-round comfort: Solid wall construction with 100mm mineral wool insulation and aluminum foil as a vapor barrier – short heating times, minimal heat loss and significantly lower energy costs even in severe frost.

Delivered fully assembled and ready for immediate use: The complete sauna house is delivered fully assembled and, thanks to its solid wood construction, can be transported to the desired location by forklift or crane – no weeks-long construction site, no complicated assembly.

Separate anteroom with insulated entrance door: The spacious changing area creates a valuable buffer zone between the outside temperature and the sauna heat, minimizes heat loss upon entry and allows for relaxed changing in any weather.

Impressive 2.30m x 1.50m panoramic window: The generous window in the sauna room floods the interior with daylight and creates a breathtaking view of your garden – wellness with a view instead of a cramped cabin atmosphere.

Detailed product description

Modular construction instead of simple log planks

The Kalle L sauna cabin does not follow the traditional log cabin construction method, but rather a modern modular construction method, as used for high-quality garden sheds and outbuildings. The crucial difference: Instead of solid wooden planks that interlock directly, multi-layered wall elements with professional insulation are used.

The wall construction is 180mm thick and consists of several layers: on the outside an 18mm thick tongue and groove cladding made of Nordic spruce, then 100mm mineral wool as highly effective thermal insulation, an aluminum foil as a vapor barrier to protect against moisture, and on the inside again 18mm tongue and groove boards made of spruce.

This construction method meets the standards of modern timber-frame houses and offers significant advantages over simple log cabin constructions: Thermal insulation is many times better, thermal bridges are minimized, and the structure is more dimensionally stable in the long term. The sauna cabin heats up faster, retains heat longer, and consumes considerably less energy – month after month, year after year.

The roof also meets these high quality standards: A solid roof construction with 100mm mineral wool insulation and aluminum foil as a vapor barrier prevents heat loss upwards. The shed roof with a 7° slope ensures reliable water drainage and gives the sauna a modern, clean look. The roof covering consists of high-quality bitumen roof shingles, which are durable, low-maintenance, and weather-resistant.

The floor is also professionally constructed: Impregnated foundation beams form the substructure, followed by rigid foam insulation against cold from the ground, OSB boards as a load-bearing layer, and finally 18mm thick floorboards. The cold stays out from below as well.

Fully assembled – Professional delivery and setup

A key advantage of the Kalle L sauna cabin: it is delivered fully assembled. There is no kit option, and this is a deliberate choice. The complex modular construction, with its multi-layered wall structure, precise insulation, and vapor barriers, requires professional assembly to achieve its full performance potential.

The complete sauna cabin will be delivered to your curbside. Thanks to its solid wooden construction, it can be easily transported to your desired location in your garden using a forklift or crane. All you need is a level, load-bearing foundation – for example, a concrete slab, paving slabs, or a point foundation.

Delivery is on schedule, and your fully equipped sauna cabin will be ready for use in your garden in no time. No weeks of construction, no complicated assembly, no uncertainty about whether all the parts fit together correctly. Simply delivered, positioned, and done.

This type of delivery not only saves you time and effort, but also guarantees that all insulation layers, vapor barriers, and structural elements are professionally installed. The energy efficiency for which the Kalle L is designed is thus ensured from the very beginning.

The anteroom – More than just a changing room

The Kalle L sauna cabin features a separate anteroom, which is separated from the outside by a high-quality insulated wooden door. This entrance door is 1.90m high and 90cm wide – generously sized for comfortable access.

The anteroom serves several important functions: Practically speaking, it acts as a changing area. Here you can undress, lay out your towels, and prepare for your sauna session. After the sauna, the anteroom offers a space to cool down and relax before you go back outside.

The anteroom is invaluable from an energy perspective. It acts as a climate barrier between the cold outside air and the heated sauna room. When you enter the sauna, you should first open only the outer door to the anteroom – not directly to the sauna itself. This helps retain the valuable heat and minimizes energy loss.

Especially in winter, when temperatures outside are below freezing and inside it's 80-90°C, this temperature buffer makes all the difference. You don't have to let the entire sauna cool down every time someone enters or leaves. Operating costs drop noticeably, and sauna comfort increases.

The anteroom also offers space for bathrobes, slippers, and personal belongings. The floor grate ensures secure footing and good ventilation. Everything is well-designed, functional, and professional.

The 2.30m x 1.50m panoramic window – light and spaciousness

Perhaps the most impressive design element of the Kalle L is the generous panoramic window in the sauna room. Measuring 2.30m wide and 1.50m high, it occupies almost the entire front and creates an exceptional connection between the interior and the garden.

This window is made of 8mm thick safety glass, specially designed to withstand extreme temperatures. It easily withstands the differences between hot interior and cool exterior air, provides excellent insulation, and remains clear and transparent for years.

The effect of this window is manifold: During the day, natural light floods the sauna room, creating a bright and welcoming atmosphere. You have a generous view of your garden, consciously perceiving the trees, the sky, and the weather. This connection to nature significantly enhances the relaxing effect of the sauna.

The size of the window makes the room appear larger. You're not in an enclosed wooden cabin, but in a light-filled room with a panoramic view. Psychologically, this makes a huge difference – the feeling of confinement that some people experience in traditional saunas simply doesn't arise here.

In the evening, when the sauna is illuminated from within, the panoramic window becomes a luminous element in your garden – a warm, inviting light that creates atmosphere and highlights the modern design of the sauna house even in the dark.

Sauna room with 1.9m sauna lounger and aspen wood furnishings

The actual sauna room offers space for up to 4 people sitting or 2 lying down. The interior is entirely made of high-quality aspen wood – the classic material for sauna interiors.

Aspen wood offers ideal properties: It has very low thermal conductivity and heats up slowly, even at high temperatures. You can lean back comfortably or stretch out on the sauna bench without burning yourself on hot wooden surfaces. Furthermore, aspen is virtually resin-free and develops hardly any odor, even at intense temperatures – your sauna infusions will be pure and unadulterated.

The sauna benches are 60cm deep and offer comfortable seating with backrests. The sauna lounger is 1.9m long, allowing even taller people to stretch out completely. This reclining position is physiologically beneficial: the spine can relax, the muscles loosen, and the even heat distribution unfolds its full therapeutic effect.

The aspen wood floor grate protects your feet from direct contact with the floor while allowing for good air circulation. Bench panels give the interior a seamless, high-quality look. The aspen wood heater guard prevents accidental contact with the sauna heater.

A high-quality all-glass door leads from the sauna room to the anteroom – elegant, functional and designed for durability.

Flexible heating options

The Kalle L sauna cabin can be equipped with either an electric or a wood-burning stove. Both versions are available as complete sets including sauna stones.

The recommended Harvia Legend Home XW electric sauna heater with 10.8kW output offers easy operation and precise temperature control. Thanks to the excellent insulation of the sauna cabin, heating times are short, and energy consumption remains manageable even with regular use.

Alternatively, the Harvia Linear Compact 18 with 14.3kW is available – a high-quality wood-burning stove with a BImSchV2-compliant kit for low-emission combustion. The wood-burning stove creates an authentic sauna experience with the characteristic scent and crackling of a real fire.

A fire-resistant panel made of natural stone on the back wall ensures maximum safety in both versions.

Professional equipment in detail

The Kalle L sauna cabin is fully equipped and ready for immediate use. An integrated ventilation grille ensures continuous air exchange and guarantees a fresh, pleasant sauna climate without stuffiness.

The LED lighting creates a pleasant, glare-free light and sets a pleasant atmosphere in the interior. A complete sauna accessory set is included: a thermometer and hygrometer for monitoring temperature and humidity, as well as a high-quality bucket with a matching ladle.

The natural spruce cladding, both inside and out, creates a warm, authentic wood atmosphere. You can stain, oil, or varnish the wood to perfectly match your garden design.

Year-round wellness in premium quality

The Kalle L sauna cabin is designed for intensive, year-round use. The professional insulation makes all the difference: in summer, it keeps the heat out and ensures pleasant temperatures in the anteroom. In winter, it protects against the cold, minimizes energy loss, and allows for comfortable use even in the harshest frost.

Investing in a fully-fledged sauna building pays for itself over the years through lower operating costs, a longer lifespan, and significantly greater user comfort. You're not getting a simple garden sauna, but a professionally constructed building that will last for decades.

After a long day at work, you enter your sauna, leave the stresses of everyday life behind in the anteroom, step through the glass door, and immerse yourself in soothing warmth. The view through the panoramic window connects you to your garden, while the perfect insulation ensures that the heat stays exactly where it belongs.

On weekends, the sauna becomes a regular wellness ritual – alone, as a couple, or with friends. Its generous dimensions, comfortable anteroom, and high-quality furnishings create an ambiance reminiscent of professional wellness facilities.

Investing in lasting quality of life

The "Kalle L" sauna house with anteroom is more than just a sauna. It's a fully-fledged building, constructed with the same care as a house, featuring professional insulation, solid construction, and thoughtful details.

Delivered fully assembled, ready for immediate use, designed for decades of service. With a separate anteroom, impressive panoramic window and space for up to 4 people.

Create this piece of lasting quality of life for yourself – a sauna house that still works just as well after many years as it did on the first day.

montiert geliefert, dann benötigen Sie keine Aufbauanleitung.
