That's why our process is unique: You don't have to commit to all the technical details when you make your purchase.

The process:

1. First, the basics: You order your desired model.
2. Then comes the fine-tuning: I will provide you with an overview sketch. You can then use this at home to draw in exactly where you want the stairs, switches, or filter system – precisely so that it fits perfectly into your garden.
3. Maximum freedom: You can even determine the position of the massage jets, the color of the bathtub and the type of wood.

This way, your hot tub becomes a custom-made, unique piece that adapts to your garden – and not the other way around.

Don't worry, you don't need to pour an expensive concrete foundation – but it does need to be stable.

A filled hot tub, including water and people, quickly weighs around 2,000 kg . To ensure it remains stable and doesn't sink in the long term, it needs a firm base.

The 3 proven solutions of our customers:

1. The best value for money: A simple, compacted gravel or crushed stone bed. It's inexpensive and permeable to water.
2. The clean solution: Existing patio slabs or paving stones.
3. The visual solution: A stable wooden deck (please ensure sufficient load-bearing capacity!).

Important: The floor must be perfectly level .

Expert tip: Please do not place the hot tub directly on the lawn . Due to the moisture and weight, it would sink over time and the wood could rot from the bottom up.

No, we've already done the hard work.

Your hot tub arrives as a true "plug & play" solution . The technicians have already taken care of the assembly at the factory.

For you, only the simple finale remains (approx. 30–60 min.):

1. Remove the protective film from the stainless steel chimney and attach the chimney elements.
2. Connect the two hoses of the pre-assembled filter system.

You do n't need any special tools or technical knowledge. Once that's done, the water can flow.

The good news is: you don't need building instructions!

Unlike kits from the hardware store, we deliver your hot tub fully assembled . The only steps required from you are attaching the chimney and connecting the filter system – this only takes a few minutes.

For long-term enjoyment, you will of course receive an easy-to-understand operating and care guide directly with it.

That depends entirely on your chosen comfort size :

• The model with a diameter of 1.80m has a capacity of approximately 1,200 liters .
• The larger model, with a diameter of 2.00m , holds approximately 1,500 liters .

Good to know: With a standard garden hose, the hot tub can usually be filled in about an hour. Thanks to the filter system, you also don't need to change the water constantly, so you can use it for a long time.

Crystal-clear water is not magic, but the result of good technology.

To allow you to bathe more and clean less, we rely on a 3-pillar system that takes almost all the work off your hands:

1. The coarse cleaner (automatic): The filter system runs in the background and reliably removes suspended particles and other particles.
2. The bacteria killer (chemical-free): The integrated UV lamp is your most important helper. It neutralizes germs using only light. Its huge advantage: This drastically reduces the need for additional care products (up to 80% less chemicals required!).
3. The hygienic finish: For the final touch, use classic cleaning tablets. You have a choice: If you don't like chlorine, simply opt for gentle active oxygen .

The result: Hygienically pure water that lasts for weeks – with minimal effort.

Ob Sie das Wasser bedenkenlos ausleiten können, hängt vom Chlorwert und dem pH-Wert ab:

Vor dem Entleeren prüfen (Teststreifen):

• Freies Chlor unter 0,5–1 mg/l → für Rasenflächen unkritisch, bei empfindlichen Pflanzen im Beet trotzdem Vorsicht

• Freies Chlor über 3 mg/l (typisch nach dem Schocken) → schädigt Wurzeln, Bodenmikroorganismen und Nutzinsekten, nicht direkt ausleiten

• pH-Wert außerhalb von 6,5–8 → schadet Pflanzen unabhängig vom Chlorwert

So gehen Sie vor:

1. Chlorwert testen
2. Bei niedrigem Wert: Wasser über mehrere Stunden verteilt auf größerer Rasenfläche ausbringen, nicht auf einen Fleck (Salzfracht + Chlor sonst zu konzentriert)
3. Bei hohem Wert: Entweder 1–2 Tage stehen lassen, bis sich das Chlor abbaut, oder mit einem Reduktionsmittel (Natriumthiosulfat, im Pool-Fachhandel erhältlich) neutralisieren – danach ist das Wasser unbedenklich
4. Gemüsebeete und Kanalisation/Gullys grundsätzlich meiden – teilweise wasserrechtlich relevant (Indirekteinleitung)

Bei bromhaltiger Wasserpflege gilt zusätzliche Vorsicht, da Brom für Pflanzen tendenziell unfreundlicher ist als Chlor.

Less than many people think. One or two armfuls of wood are usually all you need.

Of course, outside temperature and insulation play a role, but as a general rule of thumb :

For the initial heating (from cold to 37°C) you will need approximately 15 to 20 kg of dry wood . This corresponds to about a standard bag of firewood from a hardware store.

Our expert tip for efficiency: Opt for hardwood (beech or oak) . It costs a bit more, but has a significantly higher calorific value.

• Your advantage: The water heats up faster, you have to add more fuel less often and you have less ash to dispose of.

The ideal size: Logs of approximately 30 cm in length fit perfectly into the oven and can be stacked neatly.

As a guideline, plan for a leisurely 2 to 3 hours – the ideal time for anticipation.
During this time, the stove heats the water from a cool 15°C to a comfortable 37°C. The exact duration naturally depends somewhat on the outside temperature and the type of wood used.

The best part: Thanks to the thermal lid, the tub retains heat extremely efficiently. Often the water is still around 30°C the next day, so heating it up for the second round is lightning fast.

Angeschlossen wird sie per Plug & Play an eine normale 230-V-Steckdose, gesteuert bequem per App. Am effizientesten heizt die Wärmepumpe ab etwa +10 °C Außentemperatur. Sie ist damit die ideale sparsame Ergänzung zum Holzofen, der bei strengem Frost die kraftvollere Wahl bleibt.

Ja, auf Kundenwunsch realisieren wir das gerne.

Ein Bio-Diesel-Ofen ist eine interessante Alternative oder Ergänzung zum Holzofen. Er heizt das Wasser per Knopfdruck in etwa zwei Stunden auf Badetemperatur, hält die gewünschte Temperatur über einen Thermostat automatisch und arbeitet je nach Modell raucharm und leise, also auch für Wohngebiete geeignet. Betrieben wird er wahlweise mit Biodiesel, herkömmlichem Diesel oder Heizöl.

Da es sich um eine individuelle Lösung handelt, die wir auf Ihr Modell und Ihren Aufstellort abstimmen, sprechen Sie uns dafür bitte direkt an. Wir prüfen gemeinsam, ob und wie sich der Ofen für Ihren Hot Tub sinnvoll umsetzen lässt.

Good news: You don't need to rewire your house.

For the vast majority of models (lights, bubble systems & filters), a standard 230V household socket is perfectly sufficient.

The power consumption is comparable to a powerful hairdryer or kettle. Even our popular 3kW electric heater runs without any problems on the normal household electrical grid.

When do you need more power? Only if you opt for the "Turbo Heating Package" (from 6kW output) will a 400V high-voltage connection be required.

Our tip: Plan for a fixed power supply in the outdoor area – this looks nicer than cable reels and is permanently safe.

Most importantly: Despite the high massage power, a normal 230V socket is sufficient (no high voltage required!).

In den allermeisten Fällen liegt es am Filter – und das ist in fünf Minuten gelöst.

Bevor Sie an einen technischen Defekt denken, prüfen Sie bitte zuerst den Filter. Das ist mit Abstand die häufigste Ursache: Ist der Filter verschmutzt oder verstopft, bekommt die Anlage zu wenig Wasserdurchfluss. Die Folge: Die Filterpumpe arbeitet nicht mehr richtig, und die Elektroheizung schaltet aus Sicherheitsgründen ab. Kein Durchfluss, keine Heizung.

Ihr erster Schritt:

1. Heizung und Filterpumpe ausschalten.
2. Filterkartusche herausnehmen und gründlich mit dem Gartenschlauch abspülen (bei starker Verschmutzung über Nacht in Filterreiniger einlegen).
3. Filter wieder einsetzen, Anlage einschalten und prüfen, ob die Heizung wieder anspringt.

Sehr oft läuft danach alles wieder wie gewohnt.

Wenn das nicht hilft: Dann schauen wir gemeinsam genauer hin. Melden Sie sich einfach bei uns, dann grenzen wir Schritt für Schritt ein, woran es liegt.

Unser Tipp zur Vorbeugung: Reinigen Sie den Filter regelmäßig. Das hält nicht nur das Wasser klar, sondern sorgt auch dafür, dass Heizung und Filteranlage zuverlässig arbeiten.

Whether you choose spruce, thermally modified wood, larch, or cedar – the cladding is professionally oiled and impregnated at the factory. So you can immediately start enjoying your bath.

Our expert tip: To ensure that the elegant look is maintained for years (as with high-quality garden furniture), we recommend a short refresh once a year, e.g. with the tried and tested Remmers 3in1 glaze .

Don't panic about sub-zero temperatures. Winter is actually the best time for your hot tub!

To help you relax instead of staring at the thermometer, there are two proven strategies against frost:

1. The comfort solution (recommended): Do you have an electric heater installed? Perfect. Simply set it to 5–10°C. The system will switch on automatically when needed. Your advantage: The tub is protected from freezing , and it heats up much faster for the next bath.
2. The clever solution: Moving water doesn't freeze. Simply let the filter pump run continuously or control it via a frost protection device.

Conclusion: With the right settings, the hot tub almost takes care of itself in winter.

Winterizing your home is easier than you think and can be done in just a few minutes. Here's how to be on the safe side:

1. Basic cleaning: Drain the water and briefly wipe away any remaining sediment with a cloth.
2. A pro trick for clearing the pipes: With the pool empty, switch on the water massage jets for 30 to 60 seconds . The pressure will simply blow the remaining water out of the hoses.
   It's reassuring to know that minimal residues remaining afterwards are harmless and do not cause frost damage .
3. Breathing: Put the lid on, but remove the small elements to the right and left of the center. This allows the hot tub to 'breathe' over the winter, condensation to escape, and mold to prevent it.

Good news: In the vast majority of cases, the way is clear.

Since our hot tubs are not permanently anchored in the ground, they are usually legally considered "mobile fire pits" (similar to a large barbecue) and therefore often do not require a building permit .

Our tip for 100% security & good neighborliness:
Instead of wading through building regulations, use the shortcut :

Give your local chimney sweep a quick call. Simply ask: "I'm planning to install a portable fireplace in my garden – are there any distance regulations I need to be aware of?"

The advantage: It only takes 2 minutes, immediately creates legal certainty, and signals a sense of responsibility. This makes things much easier later on.

One small step before your first bath: To ensure your experience is perfect from the start, we recommend burning out the wood stove completely once.
This heats the steel and completely removes any remaining, harmless production residues.

Important note: Don't be surprised – this process typically produces more smoke . This is perfectly normal and a good sign that the residue is burning off. Consider it the official 'christening' of your oven. After that, it will be clean and ready to use.

Das hängt von Ihrem Bundesland und den örtlichen Vorgaben ab. In vielen Bundesländern sind Gartensaunen bis zu einer bestimmten Größe verfahrensfrei, dürfen also ohne Baugenehmigung aufgestellt werden. Ab einer gewissen Grundfläche oder umbautem Raum kann eine Genehmigung nötig werden.

Zwei Punkte sollten Sie unabhängig davon im Blick haben: den Grenzabstand zum Nachbargrundstück und, falls Sie sich für einen Holzofen entscheiden, die Vorgaben der BImSchV (Bundes-Immissionsschutzverordnung). Unsere Holzöfen sind nach BImSchV II zugelassen und damit in Deutschland regulär betreibbar.

Unser Rat: Ein kurzer Anruf bei Ihrem örtlichen Bauamt schafft in wenigen Minuten Klarheit für Ihr konkretes Grundstück. Wir sagen Ihnen gerne ehrlich, worauf Sie achten sollten. Die Holzöfen Harvia Linear 18 und 22 sind zugelassen gemäß 2. BImSchV.

Allerdings kann es beim Betrieb des Holzofens zu Rauchentwicklung kommen. Wenn die Außensauna in enger Wohnbebauung aufgestellt werden soll, dann ist es am besten, wenn Sie dies im Vorfeld mit Ihren Nachbarn abstimmen.

Ansonsten empfiehlt die Schornsteinfeger-Innung einen verlängerten, 7m hohen Schornstein.

Ihre Gartensauna braucht einen stabilen, ebenen und trockenen Untergrund. Das muss kein aufwändig gegossenes Fundament sein. Genauso gut funktioniert eine trocken verlegte Fläche aus Terrassenplatten oder Holzdielen.

Ein Punkt, der viele überrascht: Anders als ein mit Wasser gefüllter Hot Tub ist Ihre Sauna nur mit Luft gefüllt. Sie wiegt deshalb deutlich weniger, und die Anforderungen an den Untergrund sind entsprechend entspannter. Wichtig bleibt nur, dass die Fläche stabil ist und nicht absackt.

Unser Tipp: Legen Sie die Fläche gerne etwas größer an als die Sauna selbst. Dann können Sie außen herum mit sauberen Füßen laufen, statt durch Gras oder Matsch zu treten.

Es empfiehlt sich, den Holzofen erst einmal auszubrennen, d.h. Sie sollten den Ofen einmal erhitzen und eine Weile brennen lassen, um alle Rückstände von der Herstellung zu entfernen. Achtung, dabei kommt es erfahrungsgemäß zu stärkerer Rauchbildung.

Ja. Wenn Sie eine Sauna als Bausatz bestellen, ist immer eine gut verständliche Montageanleitung im Lieferumfang enthalten.

Kurz zur Auswahl vorweg: Bei den meisten Modellen haben Sie die Wahl zwischen der Bausatzversion und der fertig montierten Lieferung. Einige Saunen gibt es nur als Bausatz, andere nur fertig montiert.

Zwei Dinge sagen wir Ihnen fairerweise offen dazu:

Erstens: Den Anschluss der Elektrik überlassen Sie bitte einer Fachkraft, also einem Elektriker. Das ist Vorschrift und sorgt für einen sicheren Betrieb.

Zweitens: Auch die beste Anleitung ist nicht in jedem Schritt zu hundert Prozent selbsterklärend. In der Praxis kommt es schon mal zu einem Spalt hier oder dort, mit dem man nicht gerechnet hat. Das ist kein Grund zur Sorge.

Dann nehmen Sie einfach direkt Kontakt mit uns auf und schicken uns ein paar Fotos. So sehen wir sofort, worum es geht, und klären mit dem jeweiligen Hersteller, wie es richtig gehört. Die allermeisten Rückfragen sind auf diesem Weg innerhalb weniger Minuten gelöst.

Als Richtwert gilt für beide Ofenarten: In etwa 45 bis 75 Minuten ist Ihre Gartensauna auf rund 90 °C. Ein Holzofen braucht dabei meist 45 bis 60 Minuten, ein passend dimensionierter Elektroofen liegt je nach Saunengröße und Dämmung im Bereich von 45 bis 75 Minuten.

Die genaue Dauer hängt immer von der Größe der Kabine, der Dämmung, der Außentemperatur und dem Ofen ab. Beim Holzofen spielt zusätzlich die Art und Trockenheit des Holzes eine Rolle.

Beim Elektroofen entscheidet vor allem die richtige Leistung.

Als Faustregel rechnet man etwa 1 kW Ofenleistung pro Kubikmeter Kabinenvolumen. Bei einer Gartensauna ist das aber nur der Startwert: Durch Glasflächen, Außenwände und kalte Wintertage geht mehr Wärme verloren als bei einer Sauna im Haus. Deshalb darf es nach oben gerne etwas mehr sein.

Warum wir im Zweifel den stärkeren Ofen empfehlen:

Ein zu schwach gewählter Ofen läuft dauerhaft am Anschlag. Das kostet Lebensdauer, Strom und Nerven, und die Sauna wird trotzdem nur langsam warm. Ein etwas stärkerer Ofen dagegen heizt zügig auf und lässt sich anschließend bequem herunterregeln. Fehlende Leistung können Sie später nicht nachrüsten, zu viel Reserve schadet nie.

Genau deshalb stimmen wir die Ofenstufe von vornherein auf Ihre Sauna ab: die kleineren Modelle mit dem Harvia Cilindro 9 oder 11 kW, die größeren mit 11, 13 oder 16 kW. So ist Ihre Sauna nicht nur schnell warm, sondern der Ofen arbeitet auch entspannt und hält länger.

Bei jeder unserer Gartensaunen ist der passende Elektroofen bereits im Preis enthalten. Sie starten also immer mit einem vollwertigen, betriebsbereiten Ofen samt Saunasteinen. Nach oben haben Sie die freie Wahl.

Wir setzen auf die Harvia Cilindro-Reihe. Der finnische Hersteller Harvia ist seit Jahrzehnten der Maßstab für Saunatechnik. Der Cilindro heizt zügig auf, verteilt die Wärme über seine senkrechte Steinsäule gleichmäßig im Raum und ist auch optisch ein Hingucker. Das ist unsere klare Empfehlung.

Welche Leistung Sie brauchen, richtet sich nach der Größe Ihrer Sauna:

Kleinere Saunen:

• Serienmäßig enthalten: Harvia Cilindro 9 kW – die richtige Wahl für kompakte Kabinen.
• Optional: Harvia Cilindro 11 kW, wenn Sie schneller aufheizen wollen oder etwas Leistungsreserve schätzen.

Größere Saunen:

• Serienmäßig enthalten: Harvia Cilindro 11 kW.
• Optional: Harvia Cilindro 13 kW für mehr Tempo beim Aufheizen.
• Optional: Harvia Cilindro 16 kW für große Kabinen oder wenn oft mit mehreren Personen sauniert wird.

Als grobe Faustregel gilt: pro Kubikmeter Kabinenvolumen rund 1 kW Ofenleistung, bei Außensaunen eher etwas mehr. Sie müssen das nicht selbst ausrechnen. Sagen Sie uns Ihr Modell und Ihre Nutzung, dann empfehlen wir Ihnen die passende Ofenstufe.

Wer lieber mit echtem Feuer heizt, wählt bei vielen Modellen zusätzlich den Harvia Linear 22 Holzofen als Aufpreis-Option.

Für ein optimales Saunaerlebnis empfehlen wir einen Saunaofen mit externer Steuerung. Im Vergleich zu Saunaöfen mit integrierter Steuerung erreichen diese Modelle die gewünschten 80-90 Grad Celsius im Saunaraum effizienter. Der Temperatursensor bei internen Steuerungen ist zu nah am Gehäuse positioniert, was dazu führen kann, dass die Sauna zu früh abschaltet.

Kurz gesagt: Ab etwa 4,5 kW arbeitet ein Saunaofen mit 400 Volt Drehstrom, also Starkstrom. Eine normale Haushaltssteckdose reicht dafür nicht aus. Da alle unsere Elektroöfen darüber liegen, planen Sie den Starkstromanschluss am besten von Anfang an mit ein.

Diese Werte braucht der jeweilige Harvia Cilindro (Angaben pro Ofenleistung):

9 kW: 13 A je Phase, Anschluss 400 V 3N, Kabel min. 5 × 2,5 mm², Absicherung 3 × 16 A

11 kW: 16 A je Phase, Anschluss 400 V 3N, Kabel min. 5 × 2,5 mm², Absicherung 3 × 16 A

13 kW: 19 A je Phase, Anschluss 400 V 3N, Kabel min. 5 × 4,0 mm², Absicherung 3 × 20 A

16 kW: 23 A je Phase, Anschluss 400 V 3N, Kabel min. 5 × 6,0 mm², Absicherung 3 × 25 A

Drei Punkte, die in der Praxis den Unterschied machen:

• Lange Wege einplanen: Liegt der Sicherungskasten weit von der Sauna entfernt, gehen Sie beim Kabel eine Querschnittsstufe höher (zum Beispiel 4 mm² statt 2,5 mm²). Das gleicht Spannungsverluste auf der Strecke aus.
• FI-Schutzschalter ist Pflicht: Im Stromkreis muss ein Fehlerstrom-Schutzschalter (FI/RCD) sitzen. Alle Komponenten im Außenbereich müssen mindestens die Schutzart IP44 erfüllen.
• Nur vom Fachbetrieb: Der Anschluss eines Saunaofens ist kein Heimwerker-Projekt. Lassen Sie ihn von einem zertifizierten Elektrofachbetrieb ausführen. Das ist Vorschrift und sorgt dafür, dass Ihre Sauna normgerecht und dauerhaft sicher läuft.

Zur Steuerung: Je nach Ofen bedienen Sie die Sauna direkt am Gerät, über ein externes Steuergerät oder komfortabel per App über WLAN. So heizt die Kabine schon vor, während Sie noch auf dem Heimweg sind.

Ja, und gerade dann macht sie am meisten Freude. Aus der warmen Kabine in die kalte Winterluft zu treten, ist für viele der eigentliche Reiz. Unsere Gartensaunen sind für die Nutzung das ganze Jahr über gebaut.

Damit das reibungslos funktioniert, kommt es auf zwei Dinge an: eine gute Dämmung der Kabine und einen passend dimensionierten Ofen. Beides sorgt dafür, dass Ihre Sauna auch bei Minusgraden zuverlässig auf Temperatur kommt. Im tiefsten Winter dauert das Aufheizen etwas länger als im Sommer, das ist völlig normal.

Wichtig ist nur, dass der Ofen zur Größe Ihrer Sauna passt. Genau deshalb stimmen wir die Ofenleistung von vornherein auf Ihr Modell ab.

Bei vielen unserer Saunen haben Sie die Wahl zwischen nordischer Fichte und Thermoholz. Beide sind hochwertig, unterscheiden sich aber im Charakter.

Nordische Fichte ist der Klassiker: helles, freundliches Holz mit natürlicher Optik und einem angenehmen Preis. Sie ist die bewährte Standardwahl.
