The side walls are made of 42mm thick thermally modified wood logs, the back wall of 28mm thick material. This dimensioning was deliberately chosen: it ensures optimal stability, excellent heat retention, and a balanced indoor climate. The logs interlock like a puzzle – the result is a tight-fitting, warp-resistant construction that retains its perfect shape even after years.

Thermally modified wood is produced through the controlled heat treatment of softwood. This process fundamentally alters the wood's structure: the material becomes more resistant to moisture, fungal attack, and rot. It swells and shrinks significantly less than untreated wood and is ideally suited for permanent outdoor use. The characteristic dark color also gives the sauna an elegant, timeless look.
